Your job as a Managed Service Provider is to be found when someone, with buyer intent, goes looking for the services that you provide.
Whilst, in an ideal world, someone would google MSP Business Near me, find your business in the perfect three places of the top of Google with Google Ads, the map listing with Google My Business and the top of the organic rankings due to your wonderful work on your website, then just call you and ask you to take care of their IT systems, this rarely happens.
First, you have to work out how to conquer all of these MSP marketing methods (don’t worry, I will help you with that – download my guide below), but then, more importantly, you need to consider your prospects journey.
When they start looking for a MSP to help them, they are in a position of research.
They are unlikely to pick the first person that they find, call them and give them the work.
So, what must you do to give yourself the best chances of success?
You have to give your website visitor every possible chance of providing you with their contat details.
This includes
- Calls to action on every page, including your telephone, an online enquiry and a managed live chat service (done for you and NEVER a chatbot)
- A brochure or item of value to download to discover more about your services (and add themselves to your email list so you can follow up until they are ready to buy).
- An exit pop up to give you one last shot at capturing their contact details just as they are about to leave your website for good.
In my experience, most MSP providers fail with all of these requirements, meaning that nearly every potential client that finds their website, leaves without taking action or providing contact details.
