The How To Get More Clients Book: The Proven Formula For Attracting A Steady Stream Of New Clients For Consultants, Coaches, Freelancers And All Specialist Business Owners How To Get More Clients

the how to get more clients bookI have written two, grown up, published books already, from when I was a practising solicitor, A Practical Guide To Motor Insurers Bureau Claims, and since setting up my business growth consultancy, The Law Firm Growth Formula.

I have to say that whilst I love the finished product, overall, I hate the process.

If you have written a book, you may feel the same way.

One of the biggest problems for me is simply the time that you have to carve out in your diary to write the damn thing, and that for me is after all the years that you have been doing what you do to learn your expertise and hone your skills.

Because for me, book writing is about getting what is already in my head onto paper (or e reader etc) so that all of the lessons I have learned whilst building my own business, along with those learned whilst building my clients businesses, are laid out in detail for you to shortcut your own success.

I know a lot of people do books in a different way and simply come up with an idea, do some research and then write about it.

I am not saying that my way is right or wrong, but it is what writing a book is all about to me.
: getting my methodology out there so that anyone can benefit from it once they have parted with a few pounds of their hard earned income.

I am, as I always planned to be when I started my business in 2003, a one man business consultant (albeit with a team of incredibly brilliant consultants and freelancers around me), so this means that I cannot work with thousands or even hundreds of clients on a one on one basis.

I probably top out at around 50 one on one clients, so if I really believe and know that my own methodology works when it comes to showing fellow freelancers, consultants, coaches or other specialists how to get more clients (which I know it does from having mentored hundreds already) then the only way to make it available to many more people is through a book.

Which brings me back to my loathing for the book writing process, and the main sticking point is simply how long it takes to complete the process, from committing to write the book initially through to publication of my new baby.

So, what am I going to do differently this time with book number 3 to shortcut this process?

How am I going to get it out there sooner rather than later?

Well, I am going to put it all on my interwebsite here first, and let it grow and be alive from day one, not from day 101, or more like day 1001 (or more).

This way, it is available to you, dear reader, instantly and not forgetting to mention of course, freely.

From this page, you will be able to see the new chapters and pages appear, even in their unedited format, and if you sign up for my updates below, I will let you know when there is a new chapter or segment to read.

Of course, by doing it this way you will find typos, some of the book will be in an order which will change later, and some parts may not quite make sense until their sister or brother part comes along later, but by getting it live as I go it will achieve two things:

  1. Get it in your hands sooner rather than later; and
  2. Motivate me to write daily if I know that someone is waiting on the next instalment.

Hopefully, you will find the book valuable even with typos, and you might let me know if you find any so that I can fix them for the next person, plus, your questions will allow me to add more value if you think something needs further explanation, or if you use one of my methods, you might be featured as a client success story.
