I spoke with someone last week who hasn’t started their email marketing database, despite signing up for the software more than a year ago, because they can’t work out how to export their old client list into it.
I explained that they really didn’t need to do that and shouldn’t anyway. Barely 10% will make it onto the database due to old email addresses, lack of interest etc. I said that all he needed to do was to start the software today and then add people to the database whenever he speaks with a new prospect.
